Equipped with dual electric motors—one on each axle—the Polestar 2 delivers a combined output of 350 kW (476 horsepower) and 546 lb-ft of torque. This setup enables rapid acceleration
achieving 0 to 60 mph in approximately 4.0 seconds. The 82 kWh lithium-ion battery provides an EPA-estimated range of 254 miles
with energy consumption rated at 37 kWh per 100 miles. The all-wheel-drive system enhances traction and stability
featuring a newly developed asynchronous front motor and a permanent magnet rear motor. For improved efficiency
the system can disengage the front axle when all-wheel drive isn't necessary.
