Apprentice Technician
KAP Folkestone
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic apprentice who will get the fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced mechanics and receive guidance in the mechanical automotive industry. You will be required to assess vehicles and perform minor mechanical repairs, under supervision. You will also be required to attend block training off site.
Training Course: Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle)
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Shadowing an experienced technician
- Assisting with the servicing and repair of all types of vehicle
- General duties as required with in the workshop
Duration: 36 Months
Monday to Friday 8 am to 5.30pm
GCSE or Equivalent Maths and English (Grade C/ Level 4 and above), is required to access the course.

Parts Advisor
KAP Folkestone
We are a main dealer Service Centre for Ford, Nissan & Renault and as a Parts Advisor, you will be working in a busy department witihin our company.
Your responsibilities/skills will include:
- Deal with in house Technicians to ensure they are supplied with the correct parts for the job and make sure stock is replaced in a timely mannner.
- Ensure parts are correctly ordered to specification and checked on arrival.
- To ensure the parts storage area is kept clean and tidy and safe to work in.
- To assist with stock checks, identifying damaged goods or losses
- To be computer literate, preferably knowledge of Parts processing software
- To have previous experience of working as a Parts Advisor
Previous experience of manual handling of goods would be an advantage.
Salary £24500.00 to £26000.00 + Monthly Bonus Scheme
Working Hours:
8am to 5.30pm Monday - Friday
8am to 1pm Every other Saturday
