Nissan Cabstar 4.5T

We are pleased to announce the 4.5T GVW version of the New Cabstar. This model offers all the features and benefits of the 3.5T Cabstar but with an additional payload capacity of circa 920kgs (dependent on model). This gives the vehicle much increased versatility particularly for customers with specialist conversion requirements.

 It is important to note that this vehicle is above the 3.5T GVW threshold. This means that it is subject to additional legislative requirements:

• Digital Tachograph is mandatory
• Speed limiter is mandatory (56mph)
• Customers will need to ensure that they comply with the operator requirements as defined by VOSA.

 Initially the 4.5T range is available only as chassis cab models ready for conversion.

 Visually the only differences between 3.5T and 4.5T models are:

• 16” wheels with 6 bolts compared to 15” wheels with 5 bolts.
• Exterior badges showing 45.13 or 45.15

 Technical differences include: 

• Heavy duty front axle
• Reinforced rear suspension
• Larger front brake discs

The range mirrors the 3.5T range in terms of specification and options.
