Pedal-pals enable the driver to sit further back.
There are some drivers who sit fairly close to the wheel and might be able to drive adequately in a car having no air-bag. But with the air-bag fitted, they feel unsafe and at risk from the air-bag detonation. Pedal-pals enable them to sit back, and drive in a more relaxed state of mind, thus more safely for both themselves and other road-users.
Pedal-pals are approved and displayed by 'M.A.V.I.S.' this is the assessment department for drivers at the Dept. of Transport and Environment at the TRL (Transport Research Lab.) at Crowthorne
