Infra Red Control Systems

We supply and fit two types of systems one is the Lodgeson's and the other is Resaloco. They are both similar systems the only real difference is that the Lodgeson's has raised buttons which in some cases is necessary.

What are infra Red Control Systems ?
They allow easy and safe operation of up to 12 of the vehicle's controls at your fingertips.

How do they work ?
By pressing a button the switch pad sends a signal to a control box that is connected into the car's wiring.

Can I see it in the dark ?
The Lodgeson's Infra red Controls feature unique illuminated switches. This is standard on all the systems.

How is it Powered ?
The switch pad is powered by a battery and this lasts for approximately one year with average use.

Who is the system designed for ?
Any person who finds driving difficult with two hands, or who can only drive with one hand. All the controls can be used with either the left or right hand.

What Functions can I control ?
You can control 5 different functions with the basic unit and up to 12 with the largest.

What vehicles are adaptable ?
We have yet to encounter any vehicle that can not be converted. If you Email us on motability@kentautopanels.co.uk with you vehicle details and we will confirm compatibility.

What happens if some one else needs to drive the car ?
The modified car can be driven as normal. Simply remove the transmitter from the steering wheel using the quick release feature.
